Palm Jumeirah Beach Villa

Built

A quiet house for a loud collection

A beach villa on Palm Jumeirah, reworked inside for owners who live with a large collection of art and objects. The brief was less a style than a problem: an interior quiet enough to let the collection lead.

The envelope stays constant — white walls, oak floors and beams, honed stone — and each room takes its own colour from what is placed in it: rose in the living room, deep teal in the game room, blues upstairs, and earth tones in the master suite, where the bathroom is lined floor to ceiling in terracotta. The ground floor opens straight onto a pool that runs to the edge of the beach.
