Cheeky Monkeys Downtown

An indoor play venue for children from ten months to eight years, built around a question most play centres answer badly: where do the adults go. At 234 square metres the parents' lounge is larger than the soft play itself — with a food counter, clear sightlines into the play zones, and room enough to stay two hours without feeling parked.

Behind it the play areas are separated by age rather than pooled: a multi-level soft play, a protected toddler zone, a netted climb between the two. The role-play rooms — clubhouse, market, bus — sit along the lounge edge so they read as a street rather than as equipment.
